A NEW CUSTOM COCKTAIL EXPERIENCE
Our session leader will guide you through this one-of-a-kind Cocktail Experience that is executed in 2 key parts:

- Create YOUR “Bourbon” – You will access our WoodCraft Bourbon Wizard and answer the 13 questions to create YOUR Custom Bourbon recipe. Next you will perform a “Bourbon Pick” from a selection of our award-winning & quality Bourbons from our Brain Brew Distillery.
- Create YOUR Custom “Charles Dickens” Cocktail – You will start with YOUR Custom Bourbon . . . blend the cocktail ingredients, taste and then repeat. Choose YOUR Bourbon, determine YOUR level of sweetness, and identify YOUR garnish preference. Do this until you identify YOUR cocktail recipe.
At the end of the session, you will have picked YOUR Bourbon, picked YOUR Sweetness, and picked YOUR flavor & garnish — You’ve created YOUR Charles Dickens Cocktail — YOUR WAY!
The Experience takes about ~1 hour. After creating your recipe, you will have the option to order a bottle of YOUR custom Bourbon and/or your Bourbon Pick.

In the Beginning – Bartenders Customized Cocktails:

When author Charles Dickens visited Edmund Dexter, a Barrel Blender, at his home in Cincinnati in 1842, he created this famous cocktail – which we are calling the Dickens Smash. Today it’s often referred to as a Bourbon Smash (Dale Degroff).
The Charles Dickens Cocktail Experience is a one-of-kind cocktail master class. You will discover how to create YOUR own Dickens Smash recipe.
It’s a low stress experience of learning, laughter and fun. Beyond learning the history of how cocktails were invented in America, and how and why Dickens wrote The Christmas Carol around the same time.
You will learn how to customize the Dickens Smash and other cocktails to your personal taste preference.
